Since 1981 David Dixon Garden Machinery has been providing Tynedale, Tyneside, Northumberland, Cumbria, and Durham with quality gardening machinery and service.

We have a small team of experts at our Hexham based shop, each one being able to assist you with any questions you may have about Lawnmowers, Chainsaws, Strimmers and more.

Walter

Shop Manager

Walter has worked with us for 27 years and is brim full of specialist knowledge, whether it be chainsaws, bruschcutting or mowing lawns, Walter will impart his expertise and make sure that every customer gets his best, all delivered with a smile!

Paul

Sales Counter

Paul is a Hexham lad, having worked in Hexham for many years, the last 12 at David Dixon’s. Trained by Walter, under the watchful eye of David himself, Paul is equally as knowledgeable in his field, giving attention to detail in every respect.

Ollie

Workshop Manager

Ollie is manufacturer trained in all brands and offers top level technical service, coupled with his very own explosive enthusiasm, rising to any challenge, large or small. Ollie will always go the extra mile to deliver.

Malcolm

Senior Technician

Malcolm has worked all his life in the industry and is a true specialist in all fields of lawnmowers, from grinding cylinders to rebuilding engines. Malcolm is a self driven ‘old school’ fault finder and can apply himself to all aspects, he won’t be beaten!

Michael

Shop Floor Sales and Robotics Installation.

Michael has recently joined us from one of our product suppliers and has been manufacturer trained. Michael will come out to visit your garden and provide free of charge impartial advice, right through to the sale, installation and aftercare.
